I have waited 5 years to get down to Coffin Bay to do the oyster farm tour and in water shucking experience and I’m glad to say I was not disappointed in the least!! Our amazing tour guides Jayda and Rob were friendly and enthusiastic describing the history and process of oyster farming and were attentive to all guests during the tour. Wonderful guides! As well, we got the seafood indulgence platter post tour and the quality and variety of seafood was unmatched! Thank you front and back of house in the restaurant for the delivery of great food and service. If you’re looking for an oyster experience in Coffin Bay, this is it! Book it! Thank you Oyster HQ for fulfilling an Australian Culinary Bucket list item!

On the way back from the national park, we decided to try some of the menu at Oyster HQ. We were fully impressed by what the menu had to offer and our dining choices too. As expected, oysters were just so fresh! We tried other dishes too & they were top notch. Had a great spot outside on the deck, overlooking the oyster farm too. Highly recommend.
We booked a table in advance, so were able to sit next to the sea side ! What an amazing view 🌊 Oysters were so fresh and rich !! There are ranges of seafood menu options, prawns were tasty too. Service was bit slow, but it wasn’t bothering much as the view was enjoyable. There is also a walking trail behind the restaurant.
Great place for those who aren’t sure if they enjoy oysters- there’s lots of choice for different toppings but alas I love a good, freshly shucked natural oyster with a vinaigrette or lemon so after trying a few just to see what this restaurant could create - I still just loved them straight up!
Not table service, order at bar, outside was very nice but windy around on the bench at 5pm.

The place was good. Moreover if you get a table by the deck over looking to the water. We came here because one of us was crazy wanting to do oysters tour. She joined by paying $50 and got disappointed because she only could have 4pcs oysters. After the tour, we booked ourselves a table for 4pax. The waitress was very friendly and assisted us for moving table too. We ordered the food at the counter. We got the food, it’s all tasteless. We had to ask more salt to add more flavour. It was really disappointing lunch we had there on the top of that, the price of the foods were really overpriced.
If we didn’t look up on Google, we would have missed this gem of a restaurant for it’s tucked away from the road. Situated in a perfect spot, right in front of the water. We didn’t have any oysters but we did enjoy all the food we ordered. We had five plates of variety. My favourite was the feta & pumpkin Arancini balls. Service was friendly and prompt. This place has the best views and atmosphere. If I lived in Coffin Bay, I would go here every week! 10/10- highly recommend.
Good service, the meals were small, they were tasty. But given the hype of having oysters and seafood front he area, we were a little dissapointed. The oysters were cheaper than at home, but they weren't any bigger.
